What is Blueface’s net worth?
An American rapper and songwriter, Blueface, possesses a net worth of $4 million. His music video “Respect My Crypn,” released in 2018, turned him into a viral internet sensation. As of now, his 2019 single “Thotiana,” featuring Cardi B and YG, stands as his most successful track, peaking at #8 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Legal Issues & $13 Million Las Vegas Lawsuit
Blueface has faced numerous legal troubles. Towards the end of 2018, after a man tried to rob him at a gas station, he shot at the suspect’s vehicle, leading to his arrest on a felony charge for shooting at an occupied vehicle. He was released shortly after on bail. In early 2019, he was arrested again for felony gun possession.
On October 2022, Blueface was taken into custody in Las Vegas, Nevada, facing charges of attempted murder and shooting. He was held at the Clark County Detention Center, where he ultimately entered a plea, agreeing to three years of probation. Should he get into further trouble during this period, a two to five-year sentence will automatically be enforced.
The incident took place at a Las Vegas strip club, Euphoric Gentlemen’s Club, the owner of which sued Blueface for lost revenue resulting from the forced shutdown of the club due to the shooting. On October 23, 2023, the club owner was awarded a judgment amounting to $13 million. Specifically, Blueface was ordered to pay $13,072,482, comprising $12.6 million for lost revenue, $200,000 for “lease damages,” and $84,000 in employee expenses. Blueface did not contest the case in court and went without legal representation. By January 2024, without any payments made, his debt escalated to $14 million, owing to interest and penalties.
In mid-January 2024, Blueface was arrested for breaching his probation linked to a 2021 assault that happened in the San Fernando Valley.

Jonathan Michael Porter, known as Blueface, was born on January 20, 1997, in Los Angeles, California. He initially lived with his mother in the Santa Clarita Valley before moving in with his father in Oakland. After returning to the Los Angeles area, Porter attended Arleta High School, participating in the marching band and serving as the starting quarterback for the school’s football team. In 2014, he led his team to win the East Valley League championship. He went on to play football at Fayetteville State University in North Carolina but left the institution in 2016.

While at the studio, he was challenged to a rap battle, resulting in the track “Deadlocs,” which was later uploaded to SoundCloud and garnered a small audience.
Success
In June 2018, now known simply as “Blueface,” he released a full-length album titled “Famous Cryp.” The album, propelled by the newly retitled “Dead Locs,” gained traction throughout Southern California and included the original version of his hit single “Thotiana.”
Blueface rose to viral fame in the same year with the release of his music video for “Respect My Cryppin’,” which showcased his unconventional rapping style and ties to the Crips street gang. This increased visibility helped many of his other songs gain popularity, including “Next”…
Blueface gained popularity with tracks like “Big Thing” and “Thotiana.” His fame surged further when he organized a contest on Instagram to choose a high school in the Los Angeles region for a visit, which resulted in Pasadena High School emerging as the winner. In 2018, Blueface signed with Cash Money West, the West Coast division of Birdman’s Cash Money Records label.
Throughout 2019, Blueface’s popularity consistently grew. Early in that year, he achieved his first Billboard Hot 100-charting hit with “Thotiana,” which, after being remixed with Cardi B and YG, climbed to number eight on the chart. Additionally, in 2019, he released the music video for his single “Stop Cappin,” amassing over five million views within just four days on YouTube. He also dropped his eight-track EP titled “Dirt Bag,” which featured collaborations with artists like Rich the Kid, Lil Pump, and Offset, among others.
In March 2020, Blueface launched his debut studio album, “Find the Beat.” This album includes collaborations with artists such as Polo G, Gunna, Jeremih, DaBaby, and YBN Nahmir, and it features singles like “Close Up,” “First Class,” “Obama,” and “Holy Moly.” “Find the Beat” reached number 64 on the Billboard 200 and peaked at number 39 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

In addition to his rap career, Blueface has explored amateur boxing. Following his removal from two exhibition matches in 2022 due to alleged domestic abuse towards his girlfriend, he was scheduled to fight TikTok star Ed Mathews in London in 2023.

Blueface shares a son named Javaughn and a daughter named Journey with his ex-girlfriend, social media influencer Jaidyn Alexis. His son’s name is tattooed on his right arm.
