Towards the end of 2018, after a man tried to rob him at a gas station, he shot at the suspect’s vehicle, leading to his arrest on a felony charge for shooting at an occupied vehicle. He was released shortly after on bail. In early 2019, he was arrested again for felony gun possession.

On October 2022, Blueface was taken into custody in Las Vegas, Nevada, facing charges of attempted murder and shooting. He was held at the Clark County Detention Center, where he ultimately entered a plea, agreeing to three years of probation. Should he get into further trouble during this period, a two to five-year sentence will automatically be enforced.

The incident took place at a Las Vegas strip club, Euphoric Gentlemen’s Club, the owner of which sued Blueface for lost revenue resulting from the forced shutdown of the club due to the shooting. On October 23, 2023, the club owner was awarded a judgment amounting to $13 million. Specifically, Blueface was ordered to pay $13,072,482, comprising $12.6 million for lost revenue, $200,000 for “lease damages,” and $84,000 in employee expenses. Blueface did not contest the case in court and went without legal representation. By January 2024, without any payments made, his debt escalated to $14 million, owing to interest and penalties.

In mid-January 2024, Blueface was arrested for breaching his probation linked to a 2021 assault that happened in the San Fernando Valley.

Early Life

Jonathan Michael Porter, known as Blueface, was born on January 20, 1997, in Los Angeles, California. He initially lived with his mother in the Santa Clarita Valley before moving in with his father in Oakland. After returning to the Los Angeles area, Porter attended Arleta High School, participating in the marching band and serving as the starting quarterback for the school’s football team. In 2014, he led his team to win the East Valley League championship. He went on to play football at Fayetteville State University in North Carolina but left the institution in 2016.

In January 2017, he started rapping under the name “Blueface Bleedem,” referencing the School Yard Crips street gang.
